Student & Parent Volunteers

Welcome Hartselle Band Boosters & Students!!
We rely on your volunteer hours to make this event a success. We have many positions to fill and there’s something for everyone.
The hours you and your student(s) work translate into points. Those points can help you pay for your student’s upcoming band trip. So come out, spend the day with some of the best parents and kids around…and while you’re at it – earn a few points to help offset the cost of the band trip.

Work at the Festival

We are utilizing an online sign-up sheet system, click the button below to visit the sign-up page. On the sign-up page, you’ll be able click on the title of the job(s) you’re interested in and see a list of available time slots. Choose the time slot you’re interested in and click the “Sign Up” link. Fill out the information for the time(s) you’d like to work – be sure to include your email address, phone number, and your band student’s name.

If, once you’ve signed up you realize you need to change to a different time, please send an e-mail to: festivalchair@southernhospitalitymarchingfestival.com and we’ll work with you to make the necessary changes.

You can sign up for multiple shifts and jobs, just be sure they don’t overlap.

Provide Food for the Hospitality Room

During the festival the Hartselle Band Boosters provide a Hospitality Room for the band directors. We rely on the help of our Band Boosters to make it successful! Keep in mind some of our band directors will be spending all day with us. We also provide food and a hospitality space for the bus drivers that support our visiting bands.

We are using an online sign-up sheet, click the button below to open the sheet. You will see a list of foods we need to provide for the day. Choose the item(s) you can provide, and click the ‘sign-up’ link in the left column. Be sure to include your email address, phone number, and your band student’s name.

Once you’ve signed up, the Hospitality Room chairperson will be in touch with you to schedule a dropoff time.
